Moto X Style

After less than 24 hours from OnePlus' release of the OnePlus 2, Motorola released their next series of phones: The affordable Moto G has been updated. The Moto X Play is their 5.5 inch phone with a massive battery. And the Moto X Style is their new flagship 5.7 inch phone.
Like the OnePlus phone, the price points are going to be the most crucial aspect:
Moto G: Starts at $179
Moto X Play: Not to be released in the US.
Moto X Style: Starting at $400 (16GB) ($450, 32GB; $500, 64GB)
Once again, Motorola (now owned by Lenovo) has updated the Moto G to be the best entry level smart phone in the market for just $179. And it is now water resistant.
As for the Moto X Style flagship, it has all the features you would expect (e.g. qHD display and NFC, sorry OnePlus). It is even water resistant! The weakest aspect of the previous Moto X phones has been the camera quality and they hope to change that with 21 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front cameras, both with LED flash. We'll have to wait till September to see the quality of the camera but it sounds to have potential. Motorola says the Moto X Style will have the fastest battery charge time. And for those who love the SD card slot, the Moto X Style has one.
One thing I wish Motorola would have added to the Moto X Style: Fingerprint Reader. I'm not sure which one I would prefer more, NFC or the fingerprint reader... Good thing I don't have to settle for just one with my S6.
As with the previous generations of Moto phones, the experience is to be extremely close to Pure Android. Motorola adds their own software (Moto Assist, Moto Display and Moto Actions) to improve the user's experience. It's really disappointing that Motorola hasn't gotten more publicity/awareness about their excellent software experience (i.e. no bloatware).
The Moto X Style will definitely find a market with it's low price and seemingly great specs. OnePlus should be worried about how the Moto X Style will steal OnePlus Two's thunder. And there's no invite system to hassle around with...
If you don't care for the fingerprint reader, the Moto X Style will be one of the best values available (pending camera quality).
