Muppets Fever

Yesterday, I watched the movie, The Muppets. Without watching the any Muppets movie or show in many years, I was interested in how it is going to feel but had no expectations. Surprisingly, the movie took account of this prospective of not being present in many years. The movie actually uses this fact to create many humorous and great moments. Jason Segel may be the perfect actor for this movie, with his natural ability to create funny moments without trying. This may be also as a result of the characteristics I take from his role from How I Met Your Mother as Marshall. The theatrical singing scenes are a must see and are priceless.
It is a pleasant feeling of watching The Muppets again, especially on the big screen. To be honest, I haven't seen many Muppets shows/movies, only a few. It was very nice and considerate for the movie to basically introduce all the characters to the audience, especially for the generation absolutely new to The Muppets. The movie seemed to produced laughter after every line. When the film was not, laughter and excitement came from hilarious appearances/cameos from Jack Black, Feist, Whoopi, Mickey Rooney, John Krasinski, Zach Galifianakis, Donald Glover, Rashida Jones, Sarah Silverman, the funny Jim Parsons, and many more. The cameos were done so wonderfully and charming.
The Muppets is a nice change from movies of the more recent years especially with animation and such. This was easier to notice since the film started with a great Pixar Toy Story short. This was extremely delightful. But The Muppets give off a special feeling. With them being puppets and knowing that they are real made with felt (Which you can vividly see), it's something that CGI cannot reproduce. And I really enjoyed it.
I would recommend The Muppets to everyone, no matter what age. It's very enjoyable and very humorous. A type of humor that is very tasteful, innocent and goofy (Which should more common). The Muppets is easily one of my favorite movies of the past couple years, if not my favorite. It is a genuine and heartfelt film. I would say it's a must see. Hopefully this leads to a new generation of Muppets for the world.
