Next Big Thing: Samsung Pay
I can say that Samsung is going to change the way we view mobile payments. I can't believe I just said that of Samsung.
Samsung is going to charge in mobile payments with Samsung Pay. Unlike Apple Pay or Android Pay, Samsung Pay will allow its users to pay using either NFC or their LoopPay technology, which essentially mimics a credit card swipe. This will solve majority, if not all, of issues/doubt of not carrying credit/debit cards around. Too bad only four devices (S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Note 5) will have Samsung Pay.

Surprisingly, the Samsung Pay application is simple and works; I can't say that about many of Samsung's other applications. It's used for paying and that is it. They provide various methods of activating Samsung Pay; swiping from the bottom of the screen when the screen is off, at the unlock page, or at the home screen (all of which can be enabled/disabled at preferences). You could also go to the Samsung Pay application as well.

As someone who uses certain credit cards for certain locations, I really like the ability to quickly switch which card to use directly from the "Display off" screen.
If you want to continue using Android Pay for your Tap-to-Pay system, you're welcome to do that as well. Samsung allows this by allowing foreground applications to override the default choice.

I think I'm going to go with Android Pay (since it's proven to work) but slowly ease my use into Samsung Pay because it'll be much more convenient. Android Pay will remain on my phone for loyalty reward/cards purposes in the future. Also, I'm afraid Samsung is going to clutter their application when they attempt implement their rewards portion.
Samsung Pay's compatibility is slightly more limited. It isn't even officially released yet to the public. Major credit cards are accepted. Majority of my cards are supported (Citi Visa/MC, AMEX). Discover is the major outcast that didn't support Samsung Pay; though, Discover said they will support it in the future.
Samsung Pay is definitely going to change what I carry in my wallet since it reduces the anxiety that comes from the limited acceptance of Tap-to-Pay payments. Another step to walletlessness!
