NFL Fantasy Football: Not for me?
The past few years, I've posted about my teams on a regular basis. I could tell you my teams have a record of 16-9 but I can't say I put as much effort into playing fantasy football as previous years. I put much more time and passion into the game in the past.
Fantasy Football has gotten too involved for me, especially since they added Sunday morning games in London and Thursday night games. What used to be a five whole days in between weeks is now two days. This short turnover time demands your attention throughout the entire week with multiple sets of waiver periods. And with the serious injuries to many players (what seems to be more often than in the past), fantasy football has become more effort than actual fun.
But all of this comes at a time where I'm reducing the amount of time I spend watching sports, in order to reallocate my time to other aspects of my life. So, it is possible that fantasy football still has the same entertainment value as in the past.
