Nintendo Sadness
Nintendo Entertainment System was my first console. N64 is probably the most fun console I've played in my life. I've owned the Gamecube and Wii from day 1.
But as a lifetime Nintendo fan, I'm sadden by the offering Nintendo presented this year at E3. Yes, I'm excited for Star Fox and Yoshi on Wii U and the new Zelda game for 3DS; but other than those two game, Nintendo disappointed fans around the world. The offering is lacking almost like they are stalling time till the next console to be announce in 2016. Zelda for the Wii U was supposed to save the life of the console.
Nintendo still has an aura in their games that's unmatched by any other brand in the video gaming industry. Their characters are world renowned but seem to find new ways to present them in their games. It's unfortunate to see those types of games losing market to games that have have high visual capability with much less content and/or substantial gameplay.
This may be extreme but seeing Nintendo going down makes me thinking that the days of multiplayer gaming in the same room is essentially dead.
