NPR

During long drives and such, I like to listen to NPR to keep me informed on politics and other current events. I bring this up because a friend was wearing a NPR shirt last night. I was quite envious of the shirt and of course wanted one for myself. We, including our waitress, expressed our profound love for NPR for quite some time.
We also discussed how terrible NPR fundraising weeks are and how they can be improved on. As a donor (outside of fundraising week. Woah!), first, I would like a shirt. Secondly, should donors be punished by forcing them to listen to the fundraising talk? Probably not (Unless it's karma for some people), I suggest they take advantage of current technologies and has a separate stream for donors that play music during fundraising talk.
For those who don't like NPR, you probably haven't given it a proper chance. There's something for everyone! But of course most of it is politics and current news. Love Science? You have Science Fridays! Like car talk, you have Car Talk! Music lovers can listen to NPR Music. This American Life is popular but I can honestly say I've never listened/watched it before. But the various topics and interviewees can be extremely interesting for every listener.
NPR!
