Oh sNOw!

I'm pretty sure that there is suppose to some snowfall in the Northeast tomorrow and heads into the weekend. I'm only partly sure because you can't believe everything on the Internet, right? Since the majority of my friends and family resides in the Northeast, my Facebook and Twitter feeds are filled with statuses and tweets about Storm Nemo. Finding Nemo this weekend shouldn't be difficult at all.
So what can someone do in a blizzard? With technology and no power, it's amazing how many people still find a way to update their status on social networks about how they haven't had power for hours or even days. I feel like cabin fever can be good for many people; it can be a reminder how life can be awesome without technology and just old fashion fun. And in a blizzard, the possibilities are almost endless from playing Monopoly with the iron token (since you are old school) to building an igloo with colored snow to having a massive snowball fight with forts and maybe just lay in the snow after making a snow angel. You can also shovel 2 inches of snow every hour to get one of the best and most fun exercises ever. Or you can finally have family dinner and family game night with assorted board games without distractions! Though my parents very rarely had work days off since Chinese restaurants profit off snow days.
Maybe you're in the situation I'm in, in that you're not going to be hit by snow , you don't as many options for fun since you'll be at work. So you could take a hiatus from the social networks and news so you won't hear about the snow and how much fun your friends and family are having. Or to get back at them, you can take advantage of all the electricity you can!
But knowing how accurate meteorologists are, there might be a half foot or maybe six feet of snow by the end of the weekend! And for the record, here is The Weather Channel's predictions:
