One Call

Just one call can change your entire day.

I called my grandma today for her birthday. She was so excited that I called and to hear my voice; admittedly, I don't call any of my family or friends nearly enough. I feel especially horrible when I don't talk to the woman that raised me during majority of my childhood routinely. Today's phone call reminded me the values that have been instilled in me by my grandmother. Her playful personality, genuine happiness, and her unmeasurable love for her family are just few of the many qualities that easily makes her one of my ideals.

Just hearing the enthusiasm and passion in her voice was enough to make me smile and bring me true happiness almost to the point of tears.

Just realize how something so simple as a phone can affect someone.
