One Experience.
If you could tell someone to try one thing, what would you tell them to try? It could be anything. It can range from the feeling of blowing glass, going to a club without any expectations but to dance like the foolish self that you are, rock climbing, falling in love, learn how to crack your joints, eat sushi, sky diving, meditating, seeing a beautiful sight on top of a particular mountain during a designated time, or just taking a hot shower with a cold beer with music blasting. There are so many experiences to be had but if you could just say one thing, what would it be?
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer. As I'm thinking of my answer, I'm constantly one-upping myself. My first thought was to learn how to bowling with a curve because the feeling of bowling strikes is sensational. Then, I remembered how wonderful the flowing game of tennis is (after this dreaded long winter). Not everyone is into being active so I thought answering the question with experiencing high quality music with high quality speakers/headphones. The past couple weekends, I brought my Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise Isolating Earphones into work and reestablished my love for the isolation it created and being engrossed in the music. One of the most satisfying experiences has to be mentoring/tutoring students; I would definitely recommend everyone to do that.
But none of those would be my final answer. My answer would be to take a road trip. Mark a few destinations but not too many; you'll find so much that you wouldn't have expected to encounter. You can do it alone or with others. Whatever you do, whatever you go, just enjoy where you are, whether that be in the middle of a long duration in the car, or at a local bar in your destination. Enjoy the company, the space around you; stop constantly caring so much about lives of others miles upon miles away. You will have moments that will allow you to just think. You'll think about your past, your future, and about all aspects of life.
What would be the one thing you would tell someone to try?
