OnePlus One
Just like watching the Australian Open or Wimbledon, technology will have me awake at hours I usually sleep. This is another reminder that the technology industry is global and isn't going to cater to the US all the time. While the US has an advantage right now, how much longer will that be that case?So what in the world will I be awake at 2:30AM EST for?
The announcement of the OnePlus One phone. Not to be confused with the HTC One or Google +1's. You may never have heard of it. OnePlus is a phone company founded late last year with a mission to change the phone industry by creating a product with great design without the fat (e.g. bloatware). For the software, they will be using the very popular CyanogenMod.
Their slogan is great and hopefully they'll stick to their word!
From the samples and comparisons to other cameras, the OnePlus One looks to greatly improve phone camera quality.
The worst part? It's another invite system to purchase it... I hope I get a chance!
