I feel like I lend people things all the time. It's like lending tools to a neighbor. As with the tools, I feel like I will never get back what I lent but I will always remember (An elephant never forgets. So one part of my body will always remember). I will always have a grudge against these people.

And sometimes people just owe me things from such things like bets and just verbal promises. For example, a couple of dinners. And only when the favors or deeds are done will be I truly respect those people.

But of course, true friendship can overcome all dues!
