Phone Shopping Trouble
Currently I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have been in the market to upgrade. Looking at the market, I think I figured out why the iPhone is so successful. It's not that Apple has the most superior phone in the industry with the iPhone 6. It's everyone else not competing to their level.
I've given consideration to most of the Android phones but they tend to have critical issues. The Nexus 6, Note 4, and even the HTC One M8 are massive phones that I'm not ready for. Great sized phone like the Moto X or even the Nexus 5 have great software but the camera on those phones do not even come close to the shots taken by the iPhone. The Droid Turbo, or aka the Moto Maxx in some markets, may be the best Android phone currently but it's only available in the US on Verizon and only select markets around the world. Most of all, marketing for these phones are mediocre and often confuses consumers.
The iPhone provides the total package that no Android phone seems to have. Great build quality, good battery, great camera, and it just looks good (hardware and software). Apple has full control of its product unlike Android phones where cell phone providers frequently add bloatware.
Hopefully my phone survives long enough for phones with the Snapdragon 810 come out...
