Pre-Mature Summer

Here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, it's been a high of 70 degrees or higher for over a week now. With 80 degrees and higher in store for the next three days, it's going to feel like a pre-mature summer (Hey! That's the title of the blog post!). As with many parts of the country, we had a really warm winter. Some would say we were lucky to Escape winter. There were only several days where there was snow to Drive in.
There are aspects of the winter and the cold weather it brings that I miss. With the chilling weather, it makes hot soups and hot drinks (Yum Hot Chocolate) the most refreshing things ever. How can anything beat the feeling of the warm liquid going down your chest? It literally feels like it's warming up your heart. With the short or even the lack of a real winter, I didn't even have enough time to bring out the sweaters. No one in Indiana got the opportunity to see how great I look in a Sweater; what a shame.
I'm grateful about not having to deal with some aspects of winter though. The most unpleasant thing about winter was to be scraping the ice/snow off the car in the morning. What a nasty way to being a morning. Thankfully, there was not one day this winter where I felt it was dangerous to be on the roads. But usually the winter does bring such experiences.
But enough with winter, it's officially over in 2 days! Here comes spring! But in my case, it's going to be feeling like summer. I love summer weather! I feel so Alive, for the very first time! When the weather hit 50 degrees, the outside activities start! The nets of the tennis courts go up everywhere! So exciting! I played tennis for the first time this year yesterday and it felt orgasmic. It's time to Run This Town!
The first sign of warm weather brings out all the people that have been cabin-ed in their homes. Tons of people head out to parks/tracks to get exercise. I feel this is the time of the year where people are the most motivated to get out and exercise. From now on, the numbers will only decline and only the dedicated will remain. With the wonderful rays of the sun, we will Bailamos outside. People will turn a darker shade of brown, or in some cases just red. Female and males, alike, will wear the least amount of cloths as society will let them (In some cases, others don't want to see it. Not in my case, I hope.). The number sleeping in the nude will increase. What a sensational feeling! You feel so free; That's why it's the American thing to do!
So everyone, get prepared for the best time of the year. Take advantage of The Sun on a Sunday Morning. Maybe do some athletic so it's Harder to Breathe; it's great for your health! I can't wait to just lay down in a park and take in the beautiful weather or sit on my balcony writing blog post under the marvelous stars. This is the Good Life.
"Again last night I had that strange dream
Where everything was exactly how it seemed
Where concerns about the world getting warmer
The people thought they were just being rewarded
For treating others as they'd like to be treated
For obeying stop signs and curing diseases
For mailing letters with the address of the sender
Now we can swim any day in November
Don't wake me I plan on sleeping"
