Protip: Library

One of the best underutilized resources is the public library. I finally walked over to my local library to get my library card. To my surprise, the entire state of RI is under one system. What motivated me to actually go and get my card was that I was spending money on books when I could be just borrowing them. And not having a steady income contributed to it as well.
The scent of being in the libraries I grew up going to was definitely nostalgic. I was amazed by the collection of Blu-rays available at the library closest to me (I picked up Lincoln), but the lack of interesting books was disheartening. I had to drive to the main library in order to pick up Disrupted: My Misadventure in the Start-Up Bubble by Dan Lyons (there has been so much hype built up for this book around me).
You don't even have to go to the physical library to take advantage of the public library system. There are eBooks and audiobooks as well, many of which you can push to your Kindle.
Best part of it all is that everything is free! (assuming you return everything on time)
