R2-D2 Puzzle

I haven't been myself for the past two weeks because of this 1000 piece puzzle of R2-D2. It seemed like I spent all my free time working on this puzzle with West Wing and/or other documentaries in the background. I made the critical mistake of starting the puzzle on my coffee table. So much of motivation to finish this ridiculous puzzle was to get back my coffee table space back for normal usage without the fear of losing any puzzle pieces.

Now, my neck can finally relax. Being colorblind most certainly did not help in completing this puzzle and probably made it much more difficult. This puzzle is a mosaics of tiny Star Wars movie screenshots and some scenes are used in multiple locations of the puzzle. It was definitely the most difficult puzzle I've ever worked on (it seems that Amazon reviews agree with me). And it may have even taken more time than the Super Star Destroyer...

As you can see, there is a top edge piece missing and I suspect it was a packaging error. While it's only 1/1000 of the puzzle and the edges are the easiest to put together, it definitely feels surprisingly disheartening.

It's gratifying to have my coffee table back and I am ready for The Force Awakens in less than two weeks!
