Replace

As I took an well-deserved nap on my slightly concave bed with my head on two aged flattened lifeless pillows after a late night yesterday, I realized that I should probably replace them both. I don't even know how long I've had this bed but I'm not even sure how many years "count" as being used since I basically weighed as much as a feather in high school. And the pillows have been with me since my first day at UConn almost 6 years ago; fluffing the pillows is completely pointless as they lose any support when anything lays upon them.
So I thought to myself, what other things do most people not replace often enough:
1. White T-Shirts: I know I have a few white shirts that are way past their good days. The collars are no longer hugging the neck anymore; they are wavy with not life to them. The soft cotton has turned into something as soft has Bounty paper towels. They may not even be considered completely white but I'll just use my colorblindness as an excuse.
2. Socks: I'm sure people keep socks that have holes just to decrease the amount of laundry that has to be done. This is not something I have to replace more often as I like "bounce" to my socks.
3. Boxers/Underwear: There isn't much to say about this one. Elasticity.
4. Towels: I'm not sure how often bath towels should be replaced but I have some that are a few years old. They are probably half the thickness they once were and no where as gratifying to dry with. This also includes hand and kitchen towels too!
5. Condiments: Look in your refrigerator. I'm sure your bound to find condiments that are years beyond their "Best by" date. Honey mustard aged for six years is the best, right?
6. Water Bottle: I'm not sure about this one but I feel like using one for over 3 years may be too green (i.e. green as in mold).
7. Filters: Water filters, ventilation filters, AC filters.
8. Contact Solution: As a person that does not wear contacts daily (anymore), I had a bottle of solution that expired a year ago.
9. Medicine: I don't personally take medicine but I know it happens. You should most definitely replace medicine has soon as they expire. I know my parents have a few medications in the back of their draws that are from my grade school years.
10. Car Fresheners: I don't personally use one but keeping one that isn't functioning anymore isn't the best-looking decoration for your car.
11. Toothbrush: This is a friendly reminder.
I wondered if icepacks need to be replaced; my parents have icepacks older than me in the freezer! I need to replace this Macbook Pro of six years... Maybe a Chromebook?
