Restaurant Smells
Ever decide against going to a restaurant solely because of the smell of the place? It's truly a dilemma when you having that specific craving but don't have time to shower and/or change after. I don't think it's a coincidence that these places usually produce some crazy desire for their food. In Rhode Island, you have Olneyville NY System. In Fort Wayne, you have Powers Hamburger Shop. The scent spreads through every little crevice, even sticks to the skin, and lingers for hours, sometimes days.
Common offenders: Mexican restaurants, Vietnamese restaurants serving pho. Subway has a distinct smell but doesn't stick around very long.
Has a restaurant's smell ever discourage you from having something you craved?
