Ribs

It's officially summer time in Fort Wayne as weekly festivals begin. This weekend is Rib Fest! Of all the mundane summer festivals, Rib Fest must be the best (which isn't saying much) solely because the food is actually delicious unlike the others where the food is almost tasteless (absolutely doesn't do the represented cultural food justice). It's interesting seeing people around the town in one area.
Growing up, I hated eating with my hands; as a result, I never liked eating wings, ribs, or anything with sauce/grease on it which encompasses 99% of America food. The real reason I didn't enjoy getting my hands dirty was it probably would get a N64 controller slimy. As a child, I always thought that washing my hands was a chore; mostly because I have to climb the counter or tiptoe for many years. Having freezing water (unless you waited a entire minute for warm water) certainly didn't persuade me that it wasn't a hassle.
To this day, I avoid getting my fingers dirty just in case someone spontaneously challenges to a race in Mario Kart.
