Robin Williams

It's not often an actor has so much significance as Robin Williams did to so many people. The first thing I ever remember watching him was in Hook as Peter Pan/Banning on my grandma's CRT television with the turn dials. Then, he was much more momentous in my childhood with films like Aladdin, Jumanji, Flubber, and especially Mrs. Doubtfire. I only recently watched Good Will Hunting (within the past year) in its entirety; and I think is it one of the best films I have ever watched throughout my short life. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Robin Williams will have affected millions of life in their own personal way throughout his lifetime and will for many years in the future. For me, it was his quirkiness and individuality that drew me towards him and his movies. Throughout most of my childhood I aspired to be as confident as he seemed to be in his own skin within his films. He conveyed what he thought was the greater aspects in life like having great company, having a sense of humor, and just experiencing life for what is it is worth.
