Route Talk
It's been over 24 hours since I landed in Philadelphia. Ever since then, I've been teased by US Airways with prospective flights to Manchester, NH every few hours. Fortunately I got a hotel room to stay the night and refresh on energy; being prepared for anything, I even had a change of clothes! Now, I'm waiting for my flight that has been delayed over a hour; in my mind I'm just waiting for the next delay/cancellation. But enough route talk, here's a bird I found in the airport:

As you would expect, there is a quite a bit of route talk that happens at airports especially during bad weather. This is probably the root cause of all the insanity in people. Adults are easily irritable and seem more ruffled than their own children. Children remain sane because they are often in their own world and don't have to listen to any route discussions around them. Instead of describing your travel troubles, you can talk about life and describe your travel experiences (outside of the airport). You can definitely meet some interesting people and hear their story.
The most remarkable aspect I've observed through my stay here at the beautiful Philly Airport is the camaraderie between all the workers, even between the different roles.
