Ruined by Generalizing

A select few seem to ruin things for the majority all the time. Just look at Justin Bieber. He has ruined the image of Canadians for many Americans (remember those petitions to send him back to Canada?). But of all things, Justin Bieber is probably best known for his hair and this has personally affected me. No guy can now grow his hair out without going through the Justin Bieber stage now. It doesn't even look like Justin Bieber's hair! I rather have people call it similar to Manny Pacquiao or Jackie Chan.

But in recent news, select few police officers had negatively impacted the reputation of police throughout the nation. Violent rioters have hijacked the message trying to be sent by the peaceful protesters in Baltimore. Generalizing is almost never a good thing (exception? I'm an Asian engineer with glasses that's socially awkward).
