Samsung S6 or HTC One M9
As someone in the market for a new cellular phone (to replace my aging and stripping Galaxy S4), there are a few choices at the top of list (with top performance). Of course, you have the iPhone but the Android OS suits my lifestyle better than iOS. There is the Lumia 930 with an absolute amazing camera but a very incapable Windows Mobile OS that isn't friendly with many services I currently use.

So that leaves Android phones including the Nexus 6, HTC One M9, and Samsung Galaxy S6. I immediately dropped the Nexus 6 from of my list due to its size (though my brother just got the phone after a phone breaking accident). I went to Best Buy/T-Mobile to get an actual hands-on experience (not those hands-on articles). After feeling the Samsung Galaxy S6 (regular and Edge), the HTC One M9's feel, which hasn't really changed since the first HTC One, felt inferior in comfort and feel. The Samsung Galaxy S6's Gorilla Glass on both sides creates a sense of high quality that is unmatched by other phones; though the camera protrudes even more than my Galaxy S4.
Though I didn't spend tremendous amounts of time on each device (not comparing battery life and such), the Samsung Galaxy S6 was simply superior to the HTC One M9 in majority aspects that I truly care about (including the camera). Yes, the M9 has a Micro SD slot but I don't use that much storage any ways. The front facing speakers are nice but I'm not blasting music out of my phone.
Samsung has definitely spent a crazy amount on marketing their new device. On the other hand, HTC barely had any material promoting its product.
