Self-Learning

It's almost been almost a year of living solely by myself in my own apartment. Through this journey, I've learned things about myself that I haven't before. The following are some of the things I could think of, there will be more to come in the future I'm sure.
I will start in the bathroom. If you haven't noticed from previous blog posts, it's a common subject that gets quite the attention from me. I've be arrogant about how clean bathrooms are if you don't regularly clean them my entire life. My roommates and mother must have done an outstanding job hiding it from me. Unless I've been losing more hair since living in Indiana, which I certainly hope isn't happening, I have left wads and wads of hair in the shower for years and years. And I have apologized to my Huskymate for this issue I did not believe was occur after he tried to tell me. (Isn't it weird that hair feels so much gross when not on our bodies?) Being Asian, I don't have much facial hair so I didn't have to worry about shaving messes. But seemingly, it has been coming in lately so cleaning the tiny strands of facial hair is a hassle I don't want to deal with anymore. It's impossible to get every strand down the sink! One last thing before moving out of the bathroom, I use much less toilet than I brought in college, confirming that I bought more than my fair share of toilet paper!
One thing habit I've noticed is that I leave glasses of water everywhere. And I mean everywhere! As I write this, I am sitting next to three glasses of water, each about a quarter filled (Proof: See Above. Yes, that's a pair of 3D glasses and two USB drives, I'm an engineer!). I've left glasses of water in my closet and bathroom. At one point, I'm pretty sure there were five glasses in the living room, all of which have been left by me. So once in a while, I have to go "glass" hunting around my apartment. I'm sure if someone came in my apartment, they may assume multiple people live here or I had visitors recently.
Growing up in a Chinese household, the taking off shoes before entering the house was mandatory (It keeps the place cleaner!). This apartment has a two by two feet of tile at the entrance; this has been my "shoe taking off" area. It would be the porch equivalent of a house.
Besides that, I'm a pretty organized. I'm not going to say clean and neat or of an organized messy type. I'm probably in between. I certainly am not as presentably clean than some people nor do I have piles on piles of messes everywhere. I'm comfortably in middle.
P.S. I've been on a Death Cab for Cutie kick lately. How relaxing!
