Sitting with Death

As the world becomes more technological and more service oriented, the jobs in those fields increase to. In the present day, millions of people are now sitting in their cubes typing away for 8 hours a day. No matter how ergonomical your chair is, you're bound to sit in a terrible posture. I know first hand!
When our generation ages, we will see problems different from the generations before us. Our bodies will not degrade like generations before, since there is less and less manufacturing done by people manually than ever. We will deal with health issues not because we worked our bodies too hard but because we won't move enough. Sitting at the computer for hours a time will degrade our bodies slowly. It's been said sitting for 4 hours a day equates to being as unhealthy as being a smoker (Does that mean people that sit at work are as unhealthy as people that smoke twice as much?). And with technology of computers, tv, and other things, we're on our butts more than ever! We'll probably face numerous issues with arthritis, back problems, and other bodily issues because of the lack of movement.
With the current conditions of the work place, with cubicles, the problem will probably persist. So why not change this up? You've probably heard of modern work conditions are changing at companies like Google and Apple. Where they have exercise balls instead of chairs, massages at work (We have that at Raytheon!), and the idea of cubicles is gone. I would love to get rid of cubicles. It would increase communication (Literally breaking down walls) and reduce the need for new snail mail aka email. With our generation being different from the previous ones, we need to modify our workplaces to reflect the differences. We must learn from their mistakes and take care of our health.
Everyday we sit with Death. Am I the only one who sees it?
Sometimes I wish had this:
