Smile: Check.

Stand right here, look at the camera, and don't smile. Everyone's been through it; taking your ID photo is an experience most of us have had. The worst of all of it: Not being able to truly smile. Irritated doesn't even begin to describe my emotions since over 90% of the time (even including in my sleep) I am smiling. Why shouldn't I be able allowed to put on my authentic smile on for the photo? It's all because of facial recognition software being able to work as effective as possibly. I guess preventing identify theft is a valid reason...
Even though you can't show your teeth in your ID photo, it's still possible to like jubilant! I always enjoy looking at my IDs since the seventh grade; I've aged...
Also to those who need a passport photo, you can take your own picture and print it out yourself (as long as it's 2x2 and on photo paper). Sadly, I did not know this and spent way too much at CVS getting mine. And I had to cut the photo to 2x2 myself!
