Snow!

So the first snow fall hit here today. It comes after heavy rain, only to result in heavy heavy slush. While the picture on top may not look terrible. It wasn't. But the trouble of getting the inch or two of slush is pretty annoying especially without glove or a jacket. The ride back home was very smooth except for the fact people were going 35 on the speed limit 65 highway. Since this is the first time of the year driving in snow, I'll let people get used to it. What a nice guy I am!
My dislike for the snow is a sign of my old age! While I have a slight dislike of the snowy weather, I can't imagine life without it. It's hard for me to imagine the holiday season without the cold and snow. It just would not be the same. What is the holiday season without the hope of snow? The hope is still in me, but this is just too early for me! It's not even December yet!
Shoveling the driveway was such a family activity while growing up. Since I was the youngest, it was the best!
Proof (I'll actually post a picture where my brother actually looks decent and of course where I'm cute):

While we got a snow blower a few years ago, it was pretty fun shoveling times before it. Amazing how the walking up the slight slope at the beginning of the driveway was harder than it looked, especially with someone trying to make you lose your balance.
Overall, I don't think I would want to move where there isn't a winter without at least some snow. Life just wouldn't be the same. Even though it causes some problems, the snow is so beautiful. The snow creates beautiful wonderlands. Then, it turns ugly with dirt and such, especially because of snow plows.
