Snow... Rain... Ice (Updated)
So the record snow we've gotten has directly affected me. With the piles upon piles of snow accumulated through the frigid freezing temperatures, it's bound to melt eventually. This time it melted rapidly on this rainy day with thunder and lightning. It's going to be terrible when it freezes over. When I got home to my apartment after a long day's work, I arrived to this scene:

People were shoveling in the lawn... And what you can't see is a large hose contraption coming from the apartment below me transporting water outside. I knew something was strange. All the flooding from the melting snow must have caused some sort of underground issue. I'm really thankful to be on the second floor!
After coming home after an excellent Korean dinner and a mediocre four sets of volleyball, I come home to a Caterpillar backhoe in the lawn.

What are they up to? Who knows. Maybe they have elaborate plan to dig into multiple apartments. Or maybe it's the start of a underground tunnel system for the city of Fort Wayne after the record low temperatures!
