So Fresh and So Clean Clean

After having a ridiculous conversation (I didn't part take myself very much) at lunch about which is harder to learn, cleaning the house or washing clothes, I immediately thought of how often (or how rare) I clean my apartment. Since I don't do anything but sleep or sit on my butt watching tv or on my computer in my apartment, it doesn't really get messy. The biggest mess of an apartment would be the kitchen but good thing I don't cook often. I don't cook because I can't cook; I don't cook because cooking for one is extremely terrible.
But honestly, I don't usually have large messes anyways. I throw away trash immediately because I can't stand having garbage around the apartment. So I vacuum here and there but not having often; I mostly do it when I'm bored. But what does cleaning really entail? I look around my apartment and see a decently organized apartment. But if you look closely (or look in general), dust is everywhere! That is one thing that you cannot stop without going out of your way, dust. I guess dusting is important in cleaning the apartment. So, I guess I'm not very good at cleaning; evidence by the centimeter of dust on everything in my apartment (Yes, that is an actual picture above of my apartment!).
So my question to you is: Do you dust your place? And if so, how often? I feel like cleaning and maintaining my laptop is much easier and more beneficial than dusting. I really hope my future roommates won't mind my lack of dusting; it's probably the least of their worries though!
