"Special Test Market"
With my car payments ending in a couple months, I received the following letter in the mail:

How convenient... If it's too good to be true, it probably is. While the saying isn't true all the time, it probably fits this situation perfectly. How can a company that profits off purchases of new cars and loans neglect that I have a car loan that's about to be paid off? I don't blame them for trying. Even though I was voted "Most Gullible" in high school, I am not that foolish. I'm sure this marketing is effective though; exchange your current car for a new car and all you have to do is keep your current car payment going for a few more years.
