T-Mobile MMS Issue
For the past two weeks, I've had an issue sending/receiving text messages. At times, infrequently, SMS messages are delays for hours at a time, both on receipt and send. This hasn't caused too much of a concern or much trouble for me (especially since it is rare).
The major issue I've had is with MMS messages. I have been getting more "Couldn't download MMS. Touch to download again. Size 1KB. Expires: ......" messages than actually receiving messages in group text conversations in the past couple weeks; it's impossible to read/partake in a group chat when half of the messages are received. And clicking the message endlessly does not download the message. This issue used to be sporadic (like once in a few months) but now it is out of hand. I have tried multiple APN settings and tried various messaging application (including the default messaging app and Hangouts). And no, it's not because of Wi-Fi (Stop blaming it on Wi-Fi!); I have it off.
Today, I was so frustrated that I even factory restored my phone! (Mostly because I thought it may have been the share quantity of messages that was being stored and there doesn't seem to be a quick and easy method of deleting messages on my Galaxy S4) But that didn't solve the problem as I was still getting the "Cannot download message" message. Half of time, MMS (and SMS) messages seemed to be "backed up" and I receive multiple messages at one time (many of which are "Cannot download message" messages".
I'm convinced this is an issue on T-Mobile's end. After doing a quick search on Google, I'm not the only one encountering this issue. But hopefully this message means T-Mobile is resolving the issue as we speak and not stuck on the Sprint/T-Mobile merger:

So if you don't get a reply from me through texting, please be advised that I may not have received it properly or T-Mobile hasn't sent it at all.
