Tarot Card Reading
I'm not one to usually to believe divination but I was persuaded to go to a tarot card reading. Even though I was quite skeptic, I was still nervous about getting told I had a frightful future ahead of me. I walked into the room thinking how generic this reader's statement will be. I made sure that the reader couldn't possibly read up on me nor have much information based on what I wore. I was wearing a plain gray shirt with jeans and a winter jacket. She could have possibly Google image search my face though when she had to conveniently "clean up" the room.
First, she asked me to come up with two wishes but only used one to do my reading. She put the cards in an odd fashion, not in a straight line I was expecting. Then, she went into describing my traits like stubbornness and liking to give to people, but a large number of people possess these traits. But then she said something about being an engineer at a large cooperation; I was stunned. She didn't even go fishing for an information; 99% of the time she was talking and I intentionally did not make an head/facial movements.
She went into oddly specific details at times. For example, she was worried about one of my knees/ankles and said it would need surgery but won't be a major issue. She said I would have 3-4 children while married, never to be separated or divorced. Oddly enough, she said I should be closer to water; did she know I was landlocked in Indiana? She even said I would live into my late 90s which is contrary to a self-assessed/aware prediction of getting run over by a car (hopefully by my late 90s self driving cars would eliminate pedestrian killings).
While a very positive fortune, it probably won't affect how I would go about life. That seems silly to let it change your life and I'm pretty sure that may alter the reading's predictions given anyways. Though, I was thoroughly entertained and impressed by the tarot card reader.
