Tattoos
Once in a while, the conversation of tattoos seem to emerge from no where. There are proponents for them and those who are absolutely against them. It interesting hearing the explanations for their position.
Personally, I'm not an insane advocate for tattoos nor am I opposed to them. I do feel that copious amounts of people have tattoos despite their displeasure for them after a few hours/days/months/years. From this, the most important aspect of getting a tattoo emerges: Get something meaningful and will not change as your life develops. Then, establishing the position is the next critical decision to be made. The imperative questions to ask yourself to determine the location:
1. How often do you want to discuss the following:
a. The significance of your tattoo
b. Your experience of getting the tattoo
c. Other people's prospective on tattoos and why you support it
2. Where is your pain tolerance the highest?
3. Will this possibly change the first impressions I make?
4. Will Matthew TW Huang approve?

But after years of sporadic tattoo discussions, I've decided what tattoo I would get with the help of my brother. Ideally, I would get it with my brother too. I would be getting the Gèn symbol, or one of the eight trigrams on the bagua. It symbolizes mountains which represents stillness and immovability. It is also characterized as the youngest son, which I will always be. The position? I would probably get it on my back near my right shoulder blade; it would be hidden enough so I won't be questioned about it often. What's your opinion on this?
