While roaming around the mall today, I label on a pair of pants caught my eye. The label read "Mobile Pocket Pants". Being a curious fellow, I looked at the pants. Nothing seemed particular different but after close inspection, there is a small, hard to see, zipper pull on the seams of the pants below the regular pockets. There is a hidden compartment for your cell phone... All I thought was "Wow". Here are the pics:
Seems like apparel companies are trying to get an advantage and take advantage in integrating technology with those clothes. In my mind they do not mix very well right now. While jackets and such have compartments for phones and mp3 players, they work well with headphones and getting them out of the way while doing anything like running. But jackets make for iPads? Really? It just doesn't make much sense to me. And Dockers Mobile Pants, do you really need another pocket just for your phone? That's a conversation starter right there.
