Thankful Friday
There is nothing like Black Friday to remind me that I have so much to be thankful for. I looked at the ads for stores to be open at 8 on Thanksgiving day with an asterisk noting that three states will open on Friday including Rhode Island (so proud). While looking at the sales, I come to the realization that I don't have anything that I want to purchase once again. I glanced at the Nintendo 3DS XL Zelda edition but it was a hot item at Target but it wasn't worth waiting in line for in the freezing cold. It's also great to have had majority of my holiday shopping done prior to Thanksgiving Day (procrastination wasn't defeated, just unusual circumstances forced me to purchase things early).
The talk of Black Friday deals invaded the Thanksgiving dinner conversation as usual. But that may have prevented longer discussion about how I will be forever alone. I'm not sure which I would rather prefer.
I won't lie though, I was at Providence Place Mall at midnight when stores opened. But this was only due to the fact I was at Dave and Busters with friends prior to midnight. I'm pretty we were the only car to be leaving the mall while there was a line to get in the parking garage.
