That New Smell

As I open the box to my new bowling ball, the Storm 2Fast, I smelt an amazing scent. It was a familiar smell that I have smelt before but I couldn't figure it out. During a couple fights on Fight Night (Losing both, the doppelganger is wrecking me in that game), I couldn't stop trying to figure out what that scent was. It's the worst feeling, that feeling that you know what something is (like an artist of a song) but you just can't think of it. After thinking and taking a few sniffs of the smell molecules with my nose, I finally discovered what it was! It's the exact smell of Luden's Wild Cherry Throat Drops! Yes, my bowling ball smells like cough drops. So, is it that my ball is made of material like cough drops? OR Luden's throat drops are made of bowling ball materials? Hehehe.
Just think about what other new things smell awesome. The most common you'll think of, is the new car smell. But of course that costs way too much to just get that scent. I guess you could test drive cars to get a hit of the new car smell. Another common thing to smell new are shoes. It's always recommended to smell your shoes before you wear it! For those who play tennis, you may love the smell of the freshly opened can of balls.
For me, as an electric engineer, I love the smell of new electronics. Yes, the scent of brand new electronics may be my favorite smell of all time, above new cars and new shoes. I don't know what it is, the untouched plastic and metal maybe. Maybe it's the smell of fresh circuits. It's the ultimate smell of being fresh and feeling brand new!
