The Great Big Toys R US Book

While growing up, I was obsessed with the Sunday newspaper advertisements! Anything that had toys or video games, and later on, electronics in general, was in my sights. I dreamt about being able to purchase anything in those colorful ads. One moment I would want a Ninja Turtle action figure, other times I wanted a Palm PDA, sometimes an outrageously expensive video camera that I would never use. I would beg my parents to buy me these toys for me and try to convince them it was a "steal" with their markdowns. Eventually, I was realized that my parents couldn't afford to buy these unnecessary items and stopped begging.
But last week I was reminded of one of my favorite advertisements of all time! Of course it was The Great Big Toys R Us Book! Who didn't love this book with the cute giraffe on the cover? It was full with the most desired toys of the season! Kids would circle everything they desired in order to let "Santa"/Parents know what they wanted for the holiday season! I remember staring at the book day after day until it disintegrated into pieces. I wanted everything (except the girly things, of course). But life wasn't that easy and I had to settle for one item usually (Most likely a video game title).
But here I am, in my Jordan year, with an engineering career (maybe more) ahead of me. As this year's book states, "ALL THE TOYS, ALL THE TIME!", I can afford to buy anything I would like in the book! It is full of great ideas for gifts for my little and big cousins, older siblings, parents, and even my grandparents! (I hope they get pumped!) The possibilities are nearly endless! I can get the Jeep Power Wheels!
I can get the popular LOL Elmo (What happened to Tickle Me Elmo?), maybe the newly designed Furby, or I'll get an armory of Nerf Guns. Or just maybe, I'll buy everything that is branded with Star Wars (Which is a huge number but not the bathrobe since I have it already. Thanks Bro! Not all of us have awesome girlfriends who buy us the best Star Wars things). Speaking of Star Wars, LucaFilms was sold to Disney for $4 billions and they plan to release Episode VII in 2015 and may continue the series after that. I'm perplexed on how to react to that news...
Sorry about the grammar and such the past few days. I'm sure it's been worse than usual but I'm not sure why I've been struggling with my words lately.
P.S. I have circled everything I wanted in my book already!
