The Indiana Slump (Sports Update)

It was a reasonable week in sports this week for my teams. UConn football had a bye so nothing negative in that aspect. But UConn preseason basketball starts this week! Sadly the NHL is still in a lock out so no Boston Bruins news. That leaves only the NFL to discuss.

The Colts won in an exciting overtime period! Andrew Luck threw to to Vick Ballard who brought it into the end zone by doing a barrel roll! It was quite the sight!

On to the somber segment of the sports update, Indiana Bo. The losing streak will most likely continue into its third week.

As you can see, Indiana Bo's fate relies on the performance of Vernon Davis, who didn't have a single reception last week, and the Cardinals defense. Hopefully the Cardinals score over 100 points on the 49ers too. It'll be nearly impossible for Indiana Bo to come out with a victory this week. I made a rookie mistake putting Donnie Avery in while going against Andrew Luck; to be honest I didn't look at the opponent's roster this week. Sadly my first round pick, Eli Manning, underperformed. Indiana Bo will come out strong next week, for sure!
