The Little Things

The Sun rises from the east and set on the west every day. And the sight of the Sun just above the horizon never gets dulls no matter how many times you have seen it (even though the image of the Sun is already about 8 minutes old by the time we see it). It's a constant reminder that the universe is so much larger than what is here on Earth and our lives on this planet is minuscule tick in the history of this universe.

But it's not just the sunrises and sunsets that I enjoy, but the sun in general. I even fancy cloudy days. I feel lively just walking in the rain without a care about how I will look at the end of it; each drop of rain that hits my body is extremely refreshing.
Just the other day, a co-worker stated that he would love living in Phoenix because it's constantly sunny and warm; he could rely on the weather to being great for outside activities. But in my mind, I enjoy those walks in the rain/snow. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate nice sunny days but I love dynamic weather. Warm and sunny days year round is definitely overrated in my opinion.
