The Office

In 2005, the US TV series, The Office, premiered. After 9 seasons, multiple awards including four primetime Emmy Awards, the show has finally come to an end with its show finale last night. To be honest, I haven't watched the show very often since the couple that captured America's heart, Jim and Pam, got married and had a baby. I've watched episodes sporadically since then but it just didn't appeal me as much as when the show first aired.
I watched the American iconic show final episode today (thank you to On-Demand) expecting to be slightly lost. For viewers that haven't since the couple last seasons, it wasn't too confusing to follow since the show probably expected those people to watch the finale. It may have been the perfect method of ending the show by having it take place after the "documentary" was released in the show.
After 9 years, it is finally over. The show that brought drama and laughs from the Scranton office of the mundane and shrinking paper industry at Dunder Mufflin. America was discussing the show in countless real offices every Friday morning; falling in love with the office chemistry especially between Jim, Dwight, Michael, and Pam. Who can forget the hilarious pranks from the mastermind of the office, Jim. It was an amazing end to a fantastic show.
After watching the finale, I was reminded how badly I want cameras to follow me around to document my life.
