The Time Has Come!

There comes a time in a man's life where he must decide on a suit. Some men have to do this more often than others but no one will suit up more than the Lengen... wait for it, hope your not lactose intolerant... dary Barney Stinson.

I feel like buying a suit is very similar to buying a car. Both have to feel right, fit your personality, and can be tailored to fit your needs. While you can look at suits/cars as much as you like on the Internet, it cannot be replace brick and mortar stores/dealers to actually feel and test-drive the product. Being costly products (and extremely high returns), it is only natural to have highly convincing salesmen that know all the tricks of the trade. And from experience and stories, it's really simple to be suckered in even if you come in thinking you know exactly what you want. My worst experience came from Cracker Barrel where I only expected breakfast but was induced to purchase an expensive bag of Jelly Belly's.

While I have a couple of suits already, I need a versatile black one. This decision to purchase a suit comes at a time where it looks like I will be attending a couple weddings in the next few months. Any guy can look good in a suit but an extraordinary suit will make him stand out from the rest. The confidence will be through the roof with the perfect suit. That's exactly what I want!

Being an engineer with no sense of style, I'm going to need help picking out a good looking suit. Right now, I have this one and this one, or this one in mind. And what do people think of vested suits?! I really need help here! Suggestions other than the ones mentioned previously are welcome!
