Things Engineers Like: The Binary System

Whether you like it or not, the world has become a digital place. As a result, the world runs on the binary system, or 1's and 0's. So as a citizen of planet Earth, embrace and love the binary system. I'm sure most people in this world don't have the slightly clue on how the binary system works though. That's why engineers (and mathematicians) differ from the rest of the world, we were forced to use it and enjoy it. Who can resist the fun of logic gates!

While writing 1's and 0's for projects and such, the pages look like just sticks and circles (||0|||00), or ton's of laugh out louds (lol). But seriously, binary isn't hard at all, it's just 1's and 0's unlike the decimal system that is commonly used (Base-10) which has 8 more "bases". The binary system is as simple as it gets, even machines can use it! I guess people should be thankful we don't use hexadecimal frequently, that would be interesting to see how the world would deal with such change!
