Things Engineers Like: Dilbert

Every morning, I enjoy starting off the day by reading Dilbert. This comic series is written so well. If you're not a engineer (Or work with engineers), you may not enjoy it at all. Scott Adams, the author, plays out common characteristics that engineers can all relate to. It has become much more entertaining being in the work force, especially in a larger company.
Where else will you find a source of entertainment solely about engineers? You could say The Big Bang Theory but they only belittle the practical engineer for only having a Masters. And really, they live next to an attractive female, how believable can that be to an engineer? That only happens in Hollywood, right?
The most common themes in Dilbert are social conventions and issues with business. Like me, most engineers appreciate a good teasing of business majors/employees. It's all in plain fun, right? How business decisions can be very illogical. The comic may over exaggerate the nonsensical decisions and intelligence (Or the lack of) of the upper management but in a sense you can see it being done in the real world. It's always fun to feel superior to everyone else. It's just the engineer thing to do!

Dilbert plays the social habits of engineers. And it is quite amusing to read about things that people don't usually speak about. I cannot deny or confirm if the comic is correct. I enjoy the fact that Dilbert doesn't try to be like the rest of entertainment where everyone is outgoing and "perfect" socially (Who wants to be that definition of perfect though, it's boring). I think anyone who's had to deal with engineers have met a "Dilbert" before.

You may or may not have seen this clip but it's quite humorous:
