Things Engineers Like: Finals

If you read the title of this post, you must think I typed something incorrectly or I am just crazy. But this is no mistake. With millions of college students taking final exams this week or near future, I felt this optimistic post is necessary. I'm only going to be negative about finals once and this is it: Non-Engineering students invade the space engineers have lived in all year. Woah, that feels so good to have that off my chest!
Finals week(s) may be the one time that everyone is studying as much as engineers. It may be the only time where engineers can't complain about having more work than other majors (Debatable). All-nighters don't just occur in the engineering buildings anymore, it's spread to the library and every other academic building on campus. While everyone is going crazy studying, engineers have been working hard all semester so it's just a normal week with less homework. They are well prepared to study through long nights and take nearly impossible exams with little to no sleep.
Compared to engineering, there is not as much writing as liberal arts majors. So being engineers, while others have to write 25 pages for a report for 3 various classes, we relish the fact we don't have to! And with all crazy amounts of problems for homework that's worth only 5%, studying becomes necessary. It's only natural that learning the material is done during the semester (In most cases). So just trust yourself and have confidence! You'll do just fine! Good luck to all the college students out there!
