Things Engineers Like: Hoodie Allen

I have not written about music for a while now so I will break the silence with a post about one of my current addictions. His name is Hoodie Allen. While he was a finance and marketing major at UPenn, there's many more reason not to hate him (As an engineer). He worked for Google which is the dream company for many engineers. But he followed his own dreams and became an artist.
With his life being the largest influence in his music (it seems), it makes me wonder what songs I could write with my life experiences. It would probably be very awesome but too bad I'm not very good with lyrics. This is the complete opposite of the lyrical Hoodie Allen. His lyrics include many relevant subjects of today including technology and well-known people. This includes mentions of Craigslist, Myspace, multiple NBA players.
Some of my favorites include:
"I got a fake ID and a checklist
It goes never meet a girl on Craigslist"
"Do it on my first take, skippin' all the Bayless"
"Got Blazers, Aldridge"
"Every chick that be into me try to Jeremy Lin with me
I pull him off the bench, I give them all a shot
One minute they on a roll, the next minute they not"
"They be looking for World Peace but they end up with ours
Testing, testing, one, two, three here's the microphone" (In this he combines "ours" and "testing" to sound like Artest (Metta World Peace))
"I went from working at google, to watching my google alerts
Now, I got a buzz bigger than Google Earth
All my fans are virgins, let me get a word in
I ask him who they favorite is, they screaming "You the first"
I like to hear that, hear that
They been telling my we're back, we're back"
"She ask what room you in, Patrick" (In this, he combines "you in" to sound like Ewing)
These lyrics come from only in three of his songs (Lucky Man and No Interruption) so just imagine how great the other songs are!
For the engineers out there, who doesn't like Hoodie?! He made a video with "robots"!
But I really enjoy this song (No Faith in Brooklyn) (TBH, I have not seen the video):
