Things Engineers Like: Money

Every article you have ever read about careers that you should go into probably included some sort of engineering; it's no surprise since most of these lists are based on salary and its demand (Here is a good look). There is no surprise that the most valuable bachelor's degrees always seem to include engineering but it doesn't come without some effort and long hours at times; though, it is highly probable to pay off unlike many other college degrees. As the world forgets that money isn't everything, engineering degree numbers don't seem to be booming; maybe the citizens of this world haven't become completely greedy (Or just isn't up for a challenge). While I know not everyone is made for the engineering disciplines, the great salary is a way to convince great problem solvers to change the future with their abilities through engineering. It can also be persuasive to teenagers and younger children to head into that direction too. Though, I don't like to mention the money when I talk about engineering myself.
In my personal experience, the engineering degree is extremely valuable; all my engineering friends have engineering jobs or are in graduate school. And those who have jobs are living moderately and are enjoying every moment of it (not afraid of spending too. Engineers boosting the economy too. What can't they do?). It was the thought of life after college that motivated many of my engineering peers to graduation. There is probably nothing like getting paid to use your mind to solve problems that may present themselves. I'm certainly #LivINgTheLife. Again life shouldn't be about money, do what you love doing (but remember that you may have to go through less lovable jobs to get there. And there are down days at every job).
So what prompted me to write about the salary? I just wanted to boast about my engineering degree... No, it was mainly because I finished my taxes yesterday. OH YES! I must say it is so simple doing taxes with TurboTax (Discount if you have Schwab); it was also easy since my numbers are simple due to only 4 financial accounts and very few to no complications. I suspect that majority of people would be in the same situation as I am but fear to make mistakes; why not try something yourself and save a buck or two? And I realized with my salary, I'm helping this great nation by paying a decent amount of taxes!
So this brings me to the question: What should I do with my tax return money?! (There may be a reward for the person who suggests something I do end up getting)
