Things Engineers Like: Nerdy Date
No, I'm not talking about dates as in dinner and a Star Wars movie (Although it would be awesome!). We all know engineers don't go on dates! I'm talking about date as in the day/month/year.
Tomorrow is one of the dates that engineers love! It's Pi Day, yes, PI DAY! It's March 14th! 3.14! It's going to be even better in three years when it's 3.1415! It's going to be the ultimate Pi Day ever!But this year I guess we can celebrate Pi Time twice at 1:59AM and PM.
Is it coincidence that pi sounds like pie? Or that 3.14 flipped horizontally is PI.E? (See above)? I don't think so. It's no coincidence that engineers love pi and pie either. It's a relationship made in Heaven.
Again my workplace has impressed me again and is holding the celebration of Pi Day! They are so accommodating to engineers and our corkiness! Raytheon is ready for Pi Day and will be consuming pi(e) all day!
