Traveling
After thinking about how my brother is in Spain for vacation right now, I had a desire to travel myself. I thought to myself, where could I go that I have never been to before. Then, I summed up what states I have never been to before since I have had the pleasure and opportunity to travel to many of them. I probably need to thank my brother for pushing me to go on the road trips, which we're great life experiences. UConn also presented many opportunities to travel to have great times (2 NCAA Final Fours (Detroit/Houston), BCS Bowl (Phoenix), and other memorable trips).
States I need to visit:
Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
But there are states that I would love to spend more time in, and I hope I get to some day.
Some people want to go to Europe and travel to multiple countries there. I can understand that because you can experience the vast amount of culture in such a small area. You can travel from Paris, France to Madrid, Spain in about 13 hours. It's crazy to think about the difference in culture between that distance. To put it into perspective, that's about the time it takes from Providence, RI to Fort Wayne, IN. I just think I want to experience what we have here in this great country before traveling to other countries.
