TW Shirts
On my quest to try improve myself as a person, I decided to learn the art of screen printing. (The iron transfers just look terrible!) The first action, figure out what design to print. After discussing with a few people, I came to the conclusion I will make it for this blog and the perfect concept was conceived. The logo has to symbolize the aura of this blog and encompass a part of me.
Introducing the new logo!

The two thumbs is plain and simple; it is extremely positive with a touch of Matthew TW Huang. The touch of me is the infamous pose I use in countless photos.

After purchasing a screen printing kit, I was ready to go. I put the green emulsion on the screen and let it dry in a dark area (Under my bed).

Made the transparency for the back of the shirt (like my perfect handwriting?):

Exposed it to light:

Washed the screen and applied ink to the shirt:

Let the ink dry and heat set it (so it doesn't fade/crack while being washed):

The same process was done for the front of the shirt.
The entire process was pretty lengthy overall (more hours than I expected). But with the materials and skills in hand, it'll definitely be faster and easier the next time. I'm really ecstatic on how the shirts actually came out!

I'm sure you are asking yourself, "How can I get my hands on one of those awesome shirts?". I have made several shirts already and they are ready to be worn. While I prefer the yellow shirt with black lettering, I can make shirts of other colors and use different color ink.
So the price of the shirt? You can't put a price on something made with care and love especially from me. Well, I am considering a "First come, first serve" (in person and availability of various sizes) process with donations (This stuff isn't free!). For those who want one and can't readily see me in person, or for those who want different color, I would happily do it for a low price (~$4. Supplies cost.) plus shipping (if needed) plus donation.
But I do want to ask of two things of everyone that owns this shirt.
1. Take a picture of themselves wearing the shirt with two thumbs up (with me, if possible).
2. Whenever anyone asks about the shirt, tell them about this stupendous this blog is (or how awesome I am) and ask them to take a picture with them (with thumbs up, of course).
I will be in traveling in the area seen here (without too much detail) in the next week or two (or three), so if you want a shirt, please let me know the colors/size ASAP (like now):

You can contact me through all the forms of communication (Twitter and Email links here) for more questions or an order.
P.S. Don't expect to look as good as me with the shirt but you may come close. Isn't that all you can hope for?
