UConn Respect

For those who don't know, Tennessee has something against UConn in women's basketball. (A little more background: UConn Tennessee Rivalry) UConn still leads the series. Not to mention Tennessee stop the head to head game in the regular season, due to accusations of recruiting violations. Well who wouldn't be angry about not getting Maya Moore? She may be the best player to play the game.

Even with this rivalry, UConn has realized that basketball is just a game and life is a much bigger thing. I saw this ad on the UConn Huskies main site:

What a great thing they are doing, going beyond what they need to do. It's things like this that makes me happy all the time. They take a rivalry and use it to help raise money for a bigger and better cause.
