After a wonderful meal at Hon's for lunch, we decided to watch Django Unchained. I, honestly, didn't know what to expect since I haven't seen or read much about it. All I knew was numerous people on my social network feeds highly recommended it like "See it now!".
As I watched the extremely long and dull preview, I became tired. This was the worst since I was quite excited to see the actual featured film. Ultimately I dozed off for a few minutes in the beginning of the film. But since it was a Quentin Tarantino movie, you would be crazy not to expect some action. And did the movie have its action scenes... much more ammunition fired than I had initially expected. While it was an awesome action movie, all the high recommendations seem unwarranted to me; I felt like the "crowd" hype had an effect. The movie definitely made me feel uncomfortable at times though.
Speaking of movies, I'm not sure if I want to see "This is 40" anymore due to the terrible reviews... I was so excited too...
I have great news though! I finally caved in buying a carry on suitcase! No more awkwardly carrying my heavy duffle bag from terminal to terminal! Suitcases are extremely pricey but I guess they have to because of how they have published by the airlines.
